Grand Theft Auto V Rockstar Digital Download Key has contributed a lot to the UK economy as the game has sold over 6 million copies. This number is even more impressive as digital sales are not included.

This impressive feat was announced via a press release as 6 million boxed copies of Grand Theft Auto V have been sold in the country. It has become the “fastest and biggest selling entertainment product of all time” and has contributed more to the British economy than any other video game in UK history.

In terms of currency value, over £240 million was earned by the game since it came out in September 2013. To put this into perspective, the entire boxed video game market was worth £904 million in 2015.
