Mass Effect: Andromeda NPC Conversation Hints at Possible Story DLC
Time: Apr. 5, 2017Outside of the free multiplayer DLC and lack of a season pass, Bioware hasn't revealed much about its plans for Mass Effect Andromeda Origin CD Key: Andromeda's DLC. However, a conversation at the end of the game hits at what could be next for Pathfinder Ryder.
It looks like one piece of story DLC involves finding another lost ark based on a conversation found in the epilogue.
At the beginning of the game Director Tann reveals that another ark transporting quarians, drell, and hanar departed for Andromeda after the four main Andromeda Initiative arks left. Upon arrival in Andromeda all the Nexus knew was that the other ark departed late – that is until one Hyperion crew member makes a discovery at the end of the game.
Speaking with Spec. Rynn Gee (watch the video below for the full conversation) reveals that the missing ark sent a signal, but instead of it asking for help, it’s warning all other Milky Way allies to keep away. The signal can’t be traced, and Ryder decides that they just have to wait till the ark’s Pathfinder decides to make a move.
Considering this conversation is at the end of the game, it’s most probable that this is a setup for DLC. BioWare has yet to say at how many pieces of story DLC it plans to release for Andromeda officially. Mass Effect 3 had four campaign DLC.
