SONIC MANIA HAS CONFIRMED FOR NINTENDO SWITCH

according to the official Sonic Twitter,it has confirmed. "It's true: Sonic Mania is headed to the Nintendo Switch!"

Sonic Mania is a throwback to the classic 2D Sonic games. In addition to having pixel-style art, the game features brand-new levels, as well as reimagined areas from Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic CD, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles.

According to Nintendo's official page for the game on its website, Sonic Mania will release for Nintendo Switch this spring. This is the same release window that was given to the Xbox One, PS4 and PC versions when the title was announced last year at Comic-Con.

In addition to Sonic Mania, an "epic title" from the Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations team is coming to Ninten do Switch later this year.
