EA PLAY 2017 ANNOUNCED

The event — which includes live broadcasts, community contests and more — will highlight the company's upcoming lineup of games. EA Play was started last year and served as a departure from a traditional E3 booth.

No games have been announced for EA Play yet, but it's probably a safe bet we'll see new iterations of the FIFA 17 2200 FUT Points DLC Origin CD Key, Madden and NHL franchises. Plus, the company might highlight EA Originals, like Sea of Solitude, along with Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Speaking of the company's future plans, executive vice president Patrick Soderlund recently spoke with IGN about why EA is supporting Nintendo Switch.

EA Play 2017 will take place from June 10 to 12 at the Hollywood Palladium, while E3 2017 occurs right afterward from June 13 to 15.
