FINAL FANTASY XV UPDATE WILL ALLOW YOU TO TAKE YOUR OWN PHOTOS
Time: Jan. 19, 2017According to the Japanese Square Enix site, the update includes both free and paid Holiday-themed DLC, as well as the "Self-Shooting Function", which will allow players to take their own photos at any time other than during a battle.
The update appears to be dated for January 24, which tallies with the start date for the game's first seasonal event. Square Enix Europe confirmed that our translation was correct, but would not be drawn on details of the photo mode (such as whether you could take both regular pictures and selfies), or its release date.
The rest of the update is a known quantity - revolving around the start of the Moogle-Chocobo Carnival in-game event detailed by Square Enix last month. The only additional detail seems to be that those without the season pass will now also receive a themed-photo frame for their pictures.
We said that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn + 30 Days Included EU "takes some risks that don't always pay off, but the strong quartet of heroes give it tons of heart", awarding it an 8.2 review.
